Language consultation
Learning a language should be fun. Grammar contextualized through the Communicative Method is an excellent approach to language acquisition. Real life exchanges are based on an intuitive, student-centered structure. Courses are designed specifically to your needs, always starting with a FREE 30 minute consultation and level check. You might choose traditional course work with intense grammar, need to create a business presentation for Monday’s meeting, or we can spend the day shopping for a dinner party in order to take your social skills to the next level. Simply tell me the areas you wish to focus on and a personalized program will be curated for you.
My 18 years of teaching English has taught me that you cannot be good at transferring language unless you are ridiculously passionate about the learning process. I have taught students from all over the world including children whose parents are relocating, teens struggling before a test, as well as high-level executives. I can accommodate absolute beginners through to the highly advanced, including Business English.
My qualifications:
- B.A. in English (M.A. in Communications)
- TEFL Certification (American and British English)
- Taught internationally at various schools, including the Berlitz Language School and the Charlemagne Linguistic Academy (ALC)
- International teaching experience: Nepal, Japan, Denmark, Canada, and Australia
- Native speaker from Canada
Test preparation: TOEFL (reading, writing, listening and speaking)
